22nd Annual Symposium Day at USJ
USJ students will present their research to the greater community at Symposium Day, an annual recognition of academic scholarship. Co-chaired by Irene Guttilla Reed, Ph.D., associate professor of Biology, and Maryam Jernigan-Noesi, Ph.D., assistant professor of Psychology, Symposium Day will feature oral and poster presentations at various locations across the University’s main campus.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m. and continuing through 3:40 p.m., the day will include four presentation sessions and two poster sessions. At 9:10 a.m. Laura D’Angelo ’13, Pamela Peters ’96, and Kimberly Jerome C’15 will take the stage for the keynote panel, which will be streaming live via Facebook Live.
In addition to downloading the Facebook Live app to view the panel, attendees and presenters are encouraged to chronicle the day on social media using the hashtag #SympDay17.
