Reception for Vincenza Uccello Fine Arts Lecture

Join us for the Vincenza Uccello Fine Arts Lecture on “Lewis Hine, Artist & Activist.”

Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the Coleman Lobby, Bruyette Athenaeum.

Join us for a reception with light refreshments preceding the Vincenza Uccello Fine Arts Lecture on “Lewis Hine, Artist & Activist.” The lecture will be given by Independent Scholar and Curator of Photographs Alison Nordström. Dr. Nordström is well-known as a curator and organizer of photographic projects in the US and around the world. The lecture is being held in conjunction with the Art Museum’s current exhibition Our Strength is Our People:” The Humanist Photographs of Lewis Hine, which features works on three themes present throughout his life’s work: immigration, child labor, and the American worker.
