Campus Ministry: Upcoming Events

Join Campus Ministry for the following events:

Wednesday Stations of the Cross and Adoration

Come and reflect on Jesus’s walk to Calvary and how we are invited to walk with our crosses. This will be followed by sacred time with the Lord through Adoration of the Eucharist. We will meet at 6:00 p.m. at the Connor Chapel of Our Lady.

Holi Festival: 3:30 p.m. at the McGovern Patio

Holi Festival is a Hindu Celebration that takes place every year around Spring, celebrating life and hope. “Holi festival has an ancient origin and celebrates the triumph of 'good' over 'bad.' The colorful festival bridges the social gap and renew sweet relationships. On this day, people hug and wish each other 'Happy Holi'” http://www.holifestival.org/. There will be throwing of colored powered on one another, Holi music, and delicious vegetable samosas. All are invited!

Outdoor Stations of the Cross:

Holy week begins with Palm Sunday. Monday, April 10 at 11:45 a.m. starting at the Connor Chapel of Our Lady, we will continue to reflect on our Lenten season and the Way of the Cross. All are welcomed to participate! We are looking for Station readers and those who would like to carry the cross.

Campus Ministry Movie Night:

On April 11 at 8:00 p.m. in McGovern Lounge we will be viewing “God’s Not Dead.” Come and experience a young man’s spiritual journey that invites us all to walk our own.

CRS Rice Bowl Events:

CRS Students for Change and Catholic Hearts will be meeting in Assumption Hall at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 6 to prepare a CRS Simple Rice Bowl Meal and sharing that meal together. All Students are Welcomed! Friday, April 7, in the Dining Hall, there will be a simple and meatless CRS Rice Bowl meal available during the lunch period. Join the CRS Students for Change at 12pm for a Lenten lunch reflection.

SAVE THE DATE: USJ Inter-faith Seder

Come and reflect on the Exodus of the Jewish people from Egyptian slavery toward their journey to freedom, and reflect on how we can stand in solidarity with those who suffer today’s forms of slavery. Dinner will be served! April 19, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., Bruyette Reception Room. RSVP required by April 17. RSVP to [email protected].
